Ruth is a Senior Consultant specialising in European trademark and design law. She is a Spanish lawyer based at our Alicante office and advises on disputes and litigation before the EUIPO, the Boards of Appeal, National Spanish Courts (in particular, she leads cases before the Alicante and Valencia Courts concerning infringement of EU trademark and designs) and the General Court. Ruth also represents clients at oral hearings. She is currently researching and writing on AI and copyright and developing on digital IP Law.
Ruth has extensive international experience and has worked at law firms in both Spain and Germany. She is frequently invited to speak on European trademark and design law. Ruth serves as member of the Design Committee at AIPPI and Observer in the Copyright Committee at AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property). She is an active member of the AIPPI national group and currently participating in the study question regarding on line infringement in Copyright matters and territorial considerations.
