(Publ. 4 DEC 2019) To spread knowledge of award-winning brand and trademark work, we had the pleasure of listening to two previous winners of The Signum Award™ at our seminar on November 19:
Malin Billing, Head of Theatrical Rights and Senior Advisor Corporate Values, The Astrid Lindgren Company, and Petra Stenecker, Marketing & E-com Director, Polarn O. Pyret.
The Astrid Lindgren Company won the award in 2017 for its brand Pippi Longstocking, and Polarn O. Pyret won in 2019.
Malin and Petra shared knowledge about both communicative and legal aspects of their respective brands. A large part of the discussion focused on sustainability and how their respective brands have managed to remain relevant for such a long time, and in relation that how they have utilize digitization to reach new target audiences. Gunnar Berenmark, Creative Director at Nordic Morning and a member of the Signum Award jury, moderated the seminar, and Mats Lundberg, Managing Director of Groth & Co, gave an opening speech.
During the seminar, the nominees for The Signum Award 2020 were also revealed! These are Almedalsveckan, BOB, Husqvarna, Intrum and Östersjöfestivalen.
The 26th winner of The Signum Award will be presented on The Trademark Day on January 23rd, 2020 in Stockholm. More information on The Signum Award can be found on its website.
