(Publ. 20 NOV 2017) A well-managed brand is one of the most important keys to become successful in the long term. To spread some of the knowledge, we had the pleasure to have two former winners of The Signum Award™ at our seminar on brand management on 9 November.
The previous winners spoke about their branding efforts and how it has helped them achieve success. The previous winners were represented by Sofia Saberski, Head of Marketing, Indiska, and Carole Lindmark, Brand Director, Vattenfall. At the seminar, these companies discussed how they work strategically with their brands and the conditions and challenges that they encounter in their respective markets. Both Indiska and Vattenfall operates in markets that have been dramatically changed during the last ten years (retail and energy), and both companies have faced operational difficulties during the last few years that have effected their respective brand. Out of these challenges came interesting discussions during the seminar.
The moderators were Gunnar Berenmark, Creative Director at Nordic Morning and member of the Signum Award jury, and Chris Löfgren, chief editor of the magazine BrandNews, also secretary of the Signum Award jury.
The seminar also revealed the nominees for the Signum Award 2018! These are apotea.se, ECCO, HSB, Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset och Skogaholm. The 24th winner of The Signum Award will be presented on The Trademark Day on January 21st, 2016 in Stockholm. More information on The Signum Award can be found here.
