(Publ. 21 NOV 2016) A well-managed brand is one of the most important keys to become successful in the long run. To spread some knowledge, we had the pleasure, for the third year in a row at our seminar on November 10th on brand management, to have three former winners of the Signum Award™. The previous winners spoke about their branding efforts and how it has helped them in their achievements.
The previous winners were represented by Lotta Bynke, Communications & Branding Manager, Atlas Copco, Joanna Hammar, Marketing Manager, Gröna Lund, och Mikael Kruse, Brand Communication Manager EMEA, Volvo Car Corporation. At the seminar, these companies discussed how they work strategically with their brands, what the essence of their brands are, the conditions and challenges that they encounter in their respective markets as well as their future thoughts.
The moderators were Gunnar Berenmark, Design Director at Sitrus Agency and member of the Signum Award jury, and Christer Löfgren, chief editor of the magazine BrandNews, also secretary of the Signum Award jury.
And then, the nominees for the Signum Award 2017 were revealed! These are En Svensk Klassiker (A Swedish Classic/sport event), IsaDora (cosmetics), Pippi Långstrump (Pippi Longstocking) and Systembolaget (chain of liquor stores). One of these will be the 23rd winner of the Signum Award and be presented on The Trademark Day on January 19th, 2017, in Stockholm.
