(Publ. 21 MAY 2015) INTA is the world’s largest annual trademark conference, which Groth & Co have attended for many years. During this year’s INTA in San Diego, California, we hosted a reception for clients and partner organizations at the San Diego Wine & Culinary Center. It was a very pleasant evening with great opportunity for socializing and networking. The theme for this year’s reception was that for every attending guest we would donate one laying hen to the rural people of Kenya.
Due to a great number of attendees at the reception, we managed to 438 laying hens. We thank all of our guests that made this possible!
A laying hen may, in addition to providing a supply of eggs on the table, generate a good income in short time. If the family sells some of the chickens and the eggs that the hen will lay, it can create money for necessary purchases and school fees. By helping families get out of poverty this way, society at large develops. The children get the opportunity to go to school and can then be involved in and influence the development of their countryside region. Our partner this year was Eriks Development Partner.
Please have a look at some pictures from the event below. All of the attending guests have helped us with this donation.
Together we can make a difference!
