(Publ. 15 APR 2019) On Thursday March 28, we hosted a 150th anniversary party at the Nobel Prize Museum in Stockholm. Together with nearly 150 guests, we celebrated the anniversary with food, drinks, music, history and Nobel Laureates.
Many of our employees contributed with their talents in music. Åsa Thulin, IT coordinator and Artur Emtedal, patent attorney, preformed traditional Swedish folk music when the guests arrived. Lisa Rohan, paralegal, sang jazz accompanied by an orchestra that included Mats Lundberg, MD, on trombone. Viktor Backemar, Marketing Director, ended the evening playing records as a DJ.
In addition, we also turned to external entertainers. The Swedish artist and historian Wille Crafoord gave an exciting talk about the six addresses in Stockholm where our head office has been located during these 150 years, and ended by performing a song especially composed for our anniversary. Eric Gonet, VP Marketing and Business Development at SNA Europe, talked about their long history originating with Bahco and the adjustable spanner. Eric also talked about our shared history, as Bahco has been our client for almost 130 years, and ended his speech by giving us a unique gold-plated spanner. Guides from the museum gave a tour of the exhibition and talked about some of the Nobel Laureates on display.
We would like to thank all guests who came and celebrated with us! We know that some of you traveled a long way to attend, and we appreciated having you there!
