(Publ. 30 JAN 2018) The Swedish Patent and Registration Office, PRV, will make changes to its fees effective on February 14th, 2018. The changes include the areas of patents, trademarks and designs.
There are many fees that will be subject to change. Among other things, the costs for filing trademark and design applications. Most of the changes, however, are found within patents. Regarding patents, for example, the fees for validation, supplementary protection, publication of national patent applications, and annual fees will be changed.
The changes in fees are based on a government decision and it is the first time in many years that the PRV charges its fees.
