(Publ. 7 FEB 2017) We would like to welcome the Attorney at Law, Karin Crafoord, to Groth & Co. Recruiting Crafoord is a part of our investment in developing our competence within IP-litigation. Karin Crafoord has previously worked at the general law firm Advokatfirman Lindahl.
Groth & Co are strategically recruiting the experienced attorney at law Karin Crafoord, as a part of the company’s efforts to expand their expertise within legal processes.
– For many years we have acted as legal and technical counsellors in intellectual property disputes. We are now seeing a clear market trend where customers are increasingly seeking a combination of expertise in the various areas of intellectual property as well as an expertise in litigation. The recruitment of such an experienced litigator as Karin strengthens our existing services in assisting our clients with processes regarding trademarks, patents, design and copyright. Karin will be joining our existing litigation team and will be working closely with our patent and trademark attorneys, says Mats Lundberg, Managing Director at Groth & Co.
Karin Crafoord has several years of experience practicing as an attorney at law, including IP-litigation regarding trademarks, patent, design, copyright, media and marketing. Crafoord has counselled in several Swedish and international lawsuits in lots of different areas, such as IT, medical technology, sports, media, industrial engineering and ship building. Crafoord also has experience from working in both the Court of Appeals and the District Court.
– I see it as a fun and inspiring challenge to be involved in developing a litigation team specialized in IP. Groth & Co has a very good reputation in IP-law, so I see great potential in combining Groth & Co’s expertise with my expertise in process law. Previously I have worked more generally with legal disputes, but now I look forward to specializing in IP, which is the area of law closest to my heart, says Karin Crafoord.
Karin Crafoord began working at Groth & Co’s head office in Stockholm on the 16th January.
