A well-managed brand is one of the most important keys to become successful in the long term. To spread some of the knowledge, we had the pleasure to have three former winners of the Signum Award™ at our seminar on brand management on 12 November. The previous winners spoke about their branding efforts and how it has helped them achieve success. The previous winners were represented by Gunilla Asker, Managing Director, Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet, Petra W Lindh, Executive Vice President, ICEHOTEL and David Lundgren, Manager Corporate Identity & Design, Lantmännen. At the seminar, these companies discussed how they work strategically with their brands, what the essence of their brands are as well as the conditions and challenges that they encounter in their respective markets.
The moderators were Gunnar Berenmark, Senior Design Director at Rewir AB and member of the Signum Award jury, and Chris Löfgren, chief editor of the magazine BrandNews, also secretary of the Signum Award jury.
The seminar also revealed the nominees for the Signum Award 2016! These are Formex, Netto, Melodifestivalen, Malmö FF, Middagsfrid, Svenskt Tenn and Yasuragi. The 22th winner of the Signum Award will be presented on The Trademark Day on January 21st, 2016 in Stockholm.
