Mats and Mathias are IP Stars!

Our managing partners Mats Lundberg (Managing Director) and Mathias Loqvist (Head of Patent Department) have been named IP Stars by the well-renowned magazine Managing Intellectual Property (MIP). The award is given to individuals who are recognised for their outstanding contribution to and success in intellectual property law, as recommended by clients and peers. Congratulations Mats and Mathias!

We, Groth & Co, are also highlighted and credited in MIP’s survey among our clients. MIP writes the following paragraph in its latest guide book:

Groth & Co won Managing IP’s Swedish IP Firm of the Year award in 2016. The firm has a long-established trade marks practice. “They are a force in prosecution work and deserve their ranking,” says one rival. The firm has offices in Stockholm and Malmö, in addition to branches abroad. Mats Lundberg heads up the legal and trade mark department. Camilla Hamrin is another notable trade mark practitioner in the team. “When looking for a new IP firm last year, we wanted to find a firm that would engage in our business, give us good advice and be available. We believe that we have found this in Groth & Co,” says one client.

Helena Perneborg and Johan Sjöbeck are also recommended. “Helena gives practical advice and always has our best in mind. She is not afraid to speak her mind which has led us to improve.” Domain name specialist Sjöbeck is “always quick to answer questions”. Another client appreciates the firm’s “solution-oriented and reliable advice”. “Flexible, dependable and fun to work with … excellent services at a competitive price,” one says. Clients include NetOnNet Group, Stockholms Analytiska Laboratorium, KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Cycleurope.
