Mattias is an experienced patent attorney with deep knowledge across a wide range of technological areas. His expertise spans electronics, power transmission systems, telecommunications, high-pressure processing equipment, power and automation, information and communication technology, as well as lighting sectors for both home and professional use.
With a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from 2005, where his research focused on computational materials science, Mattias has developed a unique specialization in materials science. This background makes him particularly qualified to handle complex technical issues in patent processes.
Mattias has successfully represented clients in oppositions and appeals before the European Patent Office and has completed the CEIPI Diploma in European Patent Litigation from the University of Strasbourg. His experience includes drafting and prosecuting patent applications as well as providing advice on all types of patent matters.
He has also worked as a patent attorney at an IP firm for many years, advising clients in general IP-related issues.
Mattias is registered Representative before the Unified Patent Court (UPC)
