Malin is a patent consultant specializing in Life Science, with a focus in the fields of Biotech, Pharma, and mechanics. She works within biochemistry, biophysics, cell and molecular biology, molecular medicine, immunology, stem cells, diabetes, wound healing and medical devices.
Malin works with drafting and prosecution of patent applications, IP-strategies, and is an adviser in all kinds of patent issues. She has experience with carrying out prior-art searches, patentability assessments, patent portfolio analyses, licensing, infringements, warning letters and patent monitoring.
Malin has a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Stockholm’s university. Thereafter, she performed post-doctoral studies at the institution for neuroscience and cell and molecular biology (CMB) at the Karolinska Institute as well as at Stockholm university at the institution for biochemistry and biophysics (DBB).
Malin has previous experience working as a patent attorney at other Swedish IP law firms.
