Karin is a senior consultant and responsible for the Legal and Trademark Department and is specialized in disputes and processes relating to IP law. She represents Swedish and international clients in commercial litigations, both in court and arbitration proceedings, concerning e.g. trademarks, patents, copyrights and market law. Her experience includes dispute resolution in many different industries, such as fashion, media and entertainment, sport, wine and spirits, medical technology, machining tools, construction and shipbuilding. Karin also has many years of experience regarding commercial agreements and provides advice in connection with contract negotiations and due diligence, as well as questions regarding licensing and infringements.

Karin has previously worked as lawyer at one of the major law firms in Sweden. Further, she has work experience from service at the Court of Appeal and District Court in Sweden.

Karin is a member of the Groth & Co Board of Directors and a member of the Management Team.

In 2022, Karin is a highly ranked practitioner in WTR 1000’s Enforcement and Litigation. Karin has also been named Notable Practioner in 2022, IP Star in 2023 and 2024 by Managing Intellectual Property, MIP. In 2024 she was also named Top 250 Women in IP 2024 by MIP.

Karin also acts as moderator during the Trademark Day and Patent Day seminars.
