Gunnar is Managing Partner and a working board member. He has worked at Groth & Co since 1967 and was Managing Director between 1995 and 2016. He began with the company as a trademark consultant and was the head of Groth & Co’s Trademark Department for a number of years. Gunnar has assisted a number of listed Swedish companies in developing and optimising their IP. For many years Gunnar’s work has concentrated primarily on business development, work which included the establishment of Groth & Co’s overseas operations – in Alicante, Munich and Peking – and the acquisition of a number of smaller IP businesses.
Gunnar is a member of the Groth & Co Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Skriptor AB Board of Directors.
Gunnar established The Patent Day™ and The Trademark Day™, one-day IP seminars which have been held for two decades. Today, these two days are Scandinavia’s largest meeting places in each respective area.
