The United States is one of the world’s largest economies and Sweden’s third biggest market for export. In terms of patents, the US is the country in the world that receives the highest amount of filings from abroad. It goes without saying that the US is one of the most important markets globally – especially for patent owners.
To get an update from the US, we have invited Paul C. Lewis and Craig A. McRobbie, both patent attorneys and partners at Birch Stewart Kolasch & Birch LLP located just outside of Washington DC. During the seminar, Paul and Craig will give you an update on news and recent praxis in American patent law, with emphasis on the specifics of the “new” Post Grant Patent Procedures, including Inter Partes Review (IPR) and Post Grant Review (PGR).
You will also get the opportunity to ask questions on any topic of American patent law.
Paul and Craig are frequently engaged speakers outside of the US, and did, for example, gave a much appreciated presentation at The Patent Day in 2015.
Coffee and sandwiches are served from 8 am.
